Improve Slip Resistance Floors with SlipShield^®

SlipShield^® is a slip resistant floor coating that is easily cleaned and provides extended life-cycle performance.  The SlipShield^® resin has a consistent polymeric structure through-out the film.  The polymeric structure in SlipShield^® provides improved slip-resistance on many tile, polished stone and polished concrete flooring surfaces.  As long as the SlipShield® film is intact on the flooring surface, it will provide slip resistance and cleanability on walking surfaces.

SlipShield^® provides a weatherable, ultra-violet resistant surface that allows the structure and beauty of tile, polished stone and polished concrete to show through while an acceptable Coefficient of Friction can be attained for slip resistance making for a safer walkway. Adding our unique aggregate in SlipShield® provides further slip resistance.

We have used a specialized aggregate to further increase a substrates slip resistance. With this specialized aggregate, we have met the DCOF standard of .42 for tile surfaces per ANSI A137.1. This makes your tile fit for environments where water, splash and spill as well as steep ramps or stairs may exist. Adding the specialized aggregate will improve the slip resistance with minimum impact on the tile.
